Jackson and I are back from our trip to Alaska, and as fun as it was, it's sure good to be home! This trip really made me realize that vacation is just not as fun without your hubby! Every day I just kept wanting Nathan to be there. But I'm glad I got to take Jack on his first trip to this beautiful place that I love so much. On our last day we went to Homer, which is a little town on a small peninsula. It's such a beautiful place and we have had many kayaking and halibut fishing adventures at this place. We spent a few hours looking through the shops and boat docks, and bought some cool stuff.
We had a few really busy fishing days while I was in AK. Our biggest day we caught about 53,000 lbs. of salmon and the crew worked until about 4:00 A.M. On the last fishing day that I was there, it was really windy and the water was really rough. A few people from the crew got sea sick, one of the boats almost sank, and one of the boys from the crew got stitches in his eye from falling in the boat, (he thought it was the coolest thing ever)! It was an eventful day! We should be on the Deadliest Catch!
I really didn't get very many pictures while I was there, and I didn't get any of our fishing because it was just so busy. But I got a few cute shots of Jack...of course :)

What a fun trip! You were there for a long time?!
We're jealous of your Alaska hangout--sounds like a great place. Don't forget to call us next time you make it up to Poky.
