Hiking at Red Rock

The weather was nice, so on Saturday we went for a hike at Red Rock National Park. It was a fun little hike, it was narrow, rocky and involved some climbing....my favorite kind. Coco was in doggy heaven and Jackson just loves to be outside with new things to see. Poor little guy had a bit of a cold and he is getting more teeth and soakes through several bibs a day. So getting out helped distract him from his discomfort.
It wasn't quite like hiking in the Utah mountains, with the beautiful fall colors (which I miss so much), but it was pretty in it's own way, and it's what we got for now, until we get back there.

Umm... were you dying as you were taking that picture of Nate and Jack sitting on that rock. I would have been. I'm so scared of heights. But that is way cool if you can handle it. That's a way pretty area!
