We got our first real Christmas tree since we have been married and I'm so excited to have it. It was so fun to pick out and decorate! Luckily Nathan had 27 Christmas ornaments from his family tradition of getting an ornament each year, 'cause they can get pretty spendy. I just finished it off with the cheapest things I could find. It turned out pretty, and makes the house smell so good. The last couple of years I was so busy with parent teacher conferences, report cards and constantly being sick that I didn't have the time or energy to really enjoy the Christmas season as much as I should have, so I am excited for this Christmas!

Yeah! Your first Christmas tree! So exciting! I love it!
Oh I'm so jealous! This is the first time since we've been married that we haven't gotten a real Christmas tree and I'm so sad. In fact, we don't even have one! I think we're going to go pick up a charlie brown tree tonight.
Has Jack tried to pull things off the tree? We went over to a friend's house who has a tree and I was surprised that he didn't attack it, with all the shiny objects!
