A couple of weeks ago Jackson finally started to crawl, (like normal) and pull himself up onto things...it only took him 11 months! :) It is so cute to watch him get around and explore. It's like he has discovered a whole new world. Surprisingly, he seems to enjoy pulling himself up and standing even more than crawling, and he looks sooo proud of himself when he is successful at his climb.
THE DRAWBACK.....he has decided that he would rather pull himself up in his crib and yell until I come in to see him... over and over and over again, instead of taking his naps. WHAT A FUN GAME, ummmm...not so much. I would try my hardest not to go in his room, but I just couldn't help it. When I would peak in, his face would just be glowing with delight and when he would see me, he would just giggle and giggle.
I'm sure every mother has gone through this fun phase. Hopefully once the excitement of his new skill has faded he will go back to napping like normal.

Oh, what a sweet boy...and yes, I have gone through the nap problem. When Lauren first figured out how to stand up, she would do it in her crib, but couldn't figure out how to get back down! lol
Jackson is so cute. I'm sure this trick has lost its novelty for you, but it is so cute that he does that. I'm so excited to have cute stories (like this) to tell when I have kids :)
