A Fun Time in Utah!

After our busy week of graduation and spending time with Nathan's family we were able to get away from the heat for a bit and escape to Utah. It was such a fun and relaxing time for us! Nathan and I were able to go on a date, we went hiking and biking, we went to Antelope Island, to the Zoo and, I was able to get away for an evening and spend time with some of my girlfriends from college. It was a great week!
Some other really great things happened for us while we were there that I will post about later!

My sweet baby boy just loved spending time with his grandparents and cousins, and he absolutely loved getting to swing everyday on grandma and grandpa's swing set!


It was a full house at my parents while we were there because they were babysitting my two nieces, cause my brother and sister-in-law were in Hawaii. Jackson was completely entertained watching them play. Cute little Lauren just LOVED playing with my other brother's kitten, she just couldn't get enough of him... so sweet!




The kids loved Antelope Island, it's a perfect wading pool!








The hike we went on, (Adam's Canyon) was so gorgeous!! I hadn't done it for a long time, and forgot what a fun hike it is. We made it to the very top waterfall, which was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. The picture just doesn't do justice. We were really close, you can see the water drops all over my lens in the pic.


We took Jackson to the zoo for the first time, and of course he's still too little to take very much interest in it. But he loved the train ride, the carousel the leopard and just watching everything around him.




I love that even though it's been years since I've seen some friends, when we get together it's just like old times! I love these girls! A couple of them have babies on the way and I was so happy to see their cute bellies!
