I'm taking a cake decorating class, just for something fun to do. We started out decorating cupcakes, then did a really simple clown cake. I think it turned out cute. The shape of my cake is kind of sad though, it was a bit lopsided. I will have to work on that! I tried a French Vanilla cake from scratch and made a cinnamon cream cheese filling. It turned out pretty good, but I licked up so much cake batter and frosting while making the cake that when it was all done, I took one bite and just couldn't take anymore. Now we have this huge cake, that I don't know what to do with, I will probably just throw it away. I will be making cakes for the next four week...what should I do with them all?!!

On a side note, I just want to write a few things about Jackson that I don't want to forget.
He is continuing to talk so much, and so well. He is such a little parrot. He tries to say everything I say, and does pretty good. He has been so sweet lately, he's been so good at saying "Please" and "thank you". I mostly hear "More juice please" and "Thank you Mommy". Yesterday, he was helping set the table (which he LOVES to do) and whenever I would hand him something he started saying "your welcome". He picks up on so much!
His new thing right now his he will say "All done shoes" and take off his shoes, "all done socks, and take off his socks, "all done shirt," "all done pants" and has me take off his shirt and pants, then "all done diaper". Then, he will run around the house naked like a maniac, just squealing and laughing. He just loves to be naked!!
Another cute thing he has done the last few days, is when it get's close to when dad comes home (I don't know how he knows) he will stand by the window and just watch and wait, and he will say over and over, "Daddy's coming home". So sweet!

My mom and I have been saying we should take a class for year now. Looks like fun. Your cake is really cute.

My friend has a craft blog that she just started and they have a big craft night once a month. The next one is on Nov. 19th, and they're making these super cute Christmas countdown blocks.
