Christmas 2010

We had a really great Christmas and New Year's this year. We had so much fun being with family and enjoyed sharing in the excitement with Jackson, who understood the concept of Christmas a lot more this year.

We were with my family in Kaysville for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. My mom made her delicious eggnog, which Jackson loved!

He scored this awesome big wheel from his grandparent's and even though he has a little bit of growing before he can reach the pedals, I think it's going to get a lot of use this spring. (He is also holding a laser pointer that Nathan put in his stocking. Only a guy would think to give his little boy a laser pointer....which he loved!)

He couldn't wait to get outside and try it out. I love the look of happiness on his face.

Santa brought him a love sac, a TAG reader and a few other toys...I didn't really get pictures of.

My Parent's totally spoiled us, like usual. We were totally shocked and super excited when we got an iPad.

Jackson absolutely LOVES to play preschool games on the iPad!!!! I think it took him a while to remember his other toys, because he just couldn't get enough of this.

We had our other Christmas with Nathan's family a few days later. It was so fun to see Jamon, Stacy and their girls!!

Here is Nay, Taylor, and my sweet Lila. She was SO good during all the excitement and late nights, I just can't believe how good of a baby she is!

Jackson got some really fun gifts from his other Grandparent's. He loves his "CARS" cars, and garage!

Lila got some super cute clothes. Her momma sure loves dressing her up!!

I just love these pictures because they show how much Jackson loves cookies and frosting, (gee, I wonder who he got that from? :-) and I love the look of pure joy on his face as he devours them.

New Year's Eve we went bowling with my family in Utah, and then we (my brother's and sister-in-law's) put all our kids to bed at my parent's house and we all stayed up playing games, eating junk food and then lighting fireworks.
I am still just so, so grateful to live near family. I wish we were even closer, but we are so blessed to be able to spend time together with our families. This is something I truly appreciate after being so far away for a few year. I'm so grateful for them!!

I laughed about the laser pointer because my husband bought BOTH of my boys one for their stockings! MEN! Haha. Love Lila--she is adorable!!
